The EU-Romania Business Society today announced their launch in Brussels. The organisation will campaign for greater business development and market-opening investment between Romania and her EU partners.
The Society has registered with the European Commission’s transparency initiative and is based in Brussels. It will work with business, investors, European institutions, governments, MEPs and members to promote trade and investment between Romania, the Danube Region and the rest of Europe. The EU-Romania Business Society will advocate for conditions fostering business,
investment and strong social and economic development and will champion close co-operation and the exchange of opportunities and ideas between Romania, the countries of the Danube Region and Romania’s European partners.
Planned activities for the year ahead include round table discussions and seminars, networking events, reports and analysis on Romania’s business environment and trade relations, outreach to political audiences to promote favourable business conditions and media activity to promote the EU’s Danube Strategy and business and investment opportunities in Romania. The Society is actively campaigning to recruit new members who share the organisation’s ambitions.
